Space-pirate parrots raid a galactic station in this high-voltage slot. Watch four bird collectors hunt gems across an expanding 6x6 grid, ignite Fire Minions, and trigger the chaotic Inferno Coin Game for massive multipliers.
Core Systems Online
Pirots 4 abandons traditional paylines for a bird-driven collection system. Four parrot characters—red, green, blue, and purple—occupy the grid alongside coloured gems. Each bird moves horizontally or vertically to adjacent gems matching its colour, collecting them and generating wins. The birds don't stop after one move; they'll chain multiple collections in a single sequence until no adjacent matching symbols remain.
This isn't random chaos. Birds collect gems at specific payout levels (1 through 7), and upgrade symbols boost these levels mid-round. A red bird collecting level 3 red gems pays more than collecting level 1s. Stack enough upgrades, and single gem collections deliver serious multipliers.
Each of the four inner corners of the space station frame hides a colour-coded bomb. At the start of every round, each bomb randomly assigns itself to one of the four bird colours. If a bird lands on a symbol directly above its matching corner bomb, the bomb arms. When birds finish collecting, armed bombs detonate—clearing a 3x3 area, removing the station wall section, and expanding the grid by one row and column per bomb, up to a maximum 8x8 grid.
Expanded grids expose space station tunnels. Birds can traverse these tunnels to reach symbols on opposite sides, collecting up to two hidden feature symbols embedded in each tunnel section. Four detonated bombs also reveal corner portals, allowing birds to teleport across the grid if collectable symbols sit on multiple portal positions.
Collect a rocket symbol and Fire Minions invade the grid—armoured mech parrots in dark plating with glowing red eyes. When a bird moves adjacent to a Fire Minion (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), the bird ignites and starts a fire marathon: it sprints in random directions across the grid, leaving mystery fire markers on every position it crosses.
After the marathon ends, all mystery fire positions reveal either gems or coins. Positions crossed multiple times upgrade to mystery fire levels 2, 3, or 4, revealing progressively higher coin values. If a burning bird ends its run next to another bird, that bird also catches fire and starts its own marathon. In the base game, mystery fire level 1 reveals a random gem; levels 2–4 reveal coins. In the Inferno Coin Game, all mystery fire levels reveal coins only.

Expert Briefing
Birds don't move randomly. They path toward the nearest adjacent collectable symbol—either a gem matching their colour or any feature symbol (wild, coin, bonus, upgrade, rocket, Black Hole, Spacecorn, transform). A bird can move multiple times in one sequence, chaining collections across the grid. The sequence ends only when no bird can reach an adjacent collectable.
Here's the key: birds cannot finish a collection on a wild symbol. If a bird lands on a wild, it moves to an empty position instead. Wilds substitute for any gem at the gem's current payout level, but they don't halt bird movement. This creates strategic positioning where wilds act as pass-through multipliers rather than collection endpoints.
Gems start at payout level 1 and upgrade to a maximum of level 7. An upgrade symbol collected by a bird increases that bird's gem colour by 1–3 levels. An upgrade all symbol boosts all four gem colours simultaneously. In super bonus game, every upgrade becomes upgrade all automatically.
Since gem payout levels persist across the entire bonus game (all 5+ free drops), early upgrades compound. If you hit upgrade all early in a bonus round, every subsequent gem collection across multiple free drops pays at the elevated level. This is where the 10,000x max win becomes achievable—level 7 gems collected repeatedly across expanded grids with Fire Minion coin reveals.
The transform symbol converts a cluster of adjacent gems into the collecting bird's colour. If a green bird collects a transform, nearby red, blue, and purple gems turn green. This doesn't just create collection opportunities—it can also convert random gems into additional feature symbols as a secondary effect.
Transform is critical when you're stuck with birds surrounded by wrong-colour gems. It resets the board mid-sequence, potentially creating new collection chains that would otherwise be impossible.
Completely random and unannounced. When birds finish collecting, there's a chance the game activates 1–4 corner bombs simultaneously without any bird having landed on them. All armed bombs detonate at once, birds leave the grid, symbols drop, and birds return. This is pure variance injection—it can save a dead spin or expand the grid unexpectedly mid-round.
Two types exist. Standard Switcheroo: two adjacent birds with no moves left randomly swap positions horizontally or vertically. Space Switcheroo: one bird teleports to the edge of the grid or to the next collectable symbol in its trajectory, blasting through non-matching gems (which don't count toward the collection meter).
Both Switcheroo types are random chance triggers. You can't force them, but they often occur when the grid looks deadlocked, creating surprise continuations.
Pirots 4 offers five purchase modes, all at 94% RTP:
The 500x super bonus buy is the most volatile option—you're paying for maximum grid size and universal upgrades from drop one. High-risk chasers targeting the 10,000x cap typically use this entry point.
At 94% RTP, Pirots 4 sits below the industry average (96%). ELK Studios often runs promotional RTP variants (up to 96%+), so check your operator's paytable. The game's volatility is extreme. Base game spins frequently pay nothing or minimal amounts. The entire payout structure funnels toward bonus game and Inferno sequences where gem upgrades, Fire Minion marathons, and coin collections compound.
The 10,000x max win cap is reachable but requires perfect conditions: super bonus entry, early upgrade all symbols, multiple corner bomb expansions, Fire Minions triggering in bonus mode with high mystery fire levels, and Power Clash or Inferno Coin Game stacking coins. Expect long dry stretches punctuated by explosive bonus rounds.
